Keep Clinton Beautiful (KCB) has named Ms. Shellie Michael as its new Executive Director effective August 1, 2025.  Ms. Michael brings well over 30 years of experience in community relations and working with local businesses.

 

KCB is committed to keeping our community clean, green, and vibrant.  We believe that a well-cared-for environment enhances everyone’s quality of life.  In addition, we want everyone who comes to our city to have a beautiful experience.

 

“We selected someone who not only knows Clinton but has lived in the city for the past 17 years,” said Mr. Clay Mansell, State Representative of Mississippi House District 56.  “Ms. Michael’s integration with our city, coupled with her experience in business and community development uniquely position her to help bring to light KCB’s vision for our city.” he continued.

 

Ms. Michael has hit the ground running, as Keep Clinton Beautiful has already attained the “2025 Presidents Circle” as an Affiliate of Keep Mississippi Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful, a national non-profit organization focused on improving and beautifying communities across the United States. She has begun meeting with partners, volunteers, businesses and corporations to strengthen involvement and to buildup teamwork.
